There are two crystals in the module; one covers 28-28.5Mhz, the other 28.5 - 29Mhz. A little careful work with a low wattage soldering iron(the crystals are soldered to the module's main board) is all should take. QRP _and_ satellites in one rig(well, you do need a 2m multi-mode for uplinks). Life is good. 72 de N8PVZ ============================================== >Date: Mon, 12 Jan 1998 22:12:17 -0500 >From: Marc Pressman >Subject: Argo Module Mod for 29 Mhz >I modified my module for the ten meter band by replacing the crystal in the module >with a 20.65600 Mhz crystal from Marden Electronics, 1-800-222-6093 32100 >Droster Ave, Burlington, WI 53105-0277.
